ROOTSY by Sol Guber is an easy to use program which uses data from
Clifford Pickover's book, "Computers, Patterns, Chaos, and Beauty." to
show you how mathematics can be beautiful. What this program does is
show which points in the complex plane converge to which root of the
equation x^n+1=0 in the range of -+ 1.5 to -+1.5i. Sounds boring,
right? Well, it doesn't look that way! You can make some beautiful
pictures with this program. Keyboard and mouse controls allow you to
designate what portions of the results you wish printed to the screen
(for like fractal generators, this program takes a pile of time to do
its thing!). This program will work in all of the ST and TT resolutions
and will use the math co-processor if it is present in the TT. Docs
included. Not STE compatible.
